I am sure most of you have heard of Fischerspooner before. They have been around since the late 90’s. If not, you should check out their album Odyssey (2005). It is classic. The group really helped to shape the whole electropop scene. They released their Danse In France EP earlier this year. When I first heard it I didn’t think much about it, but now I really dig the track (probably due to how sexy I find French accents to be). Peace & Beats

Well Im probably going to get in trouble for posting this song because it has been #1 on Beatport for a few weeks now, but I have been playing it too much lately not to post it. As far as I know, this is the only release by Jean Elan so maybe he wont be too pissed and get some much needed publicity. I know even less about Klass. I am probably just an idiot but I couldn’t even find their myspace page! Regardless, it is a fun electro house released on Shake Me Please!

Alan Braxe on the other hand, is a little more well known. All though he might not look it, he is 36 and currently signed to Kitsune. “Addicted” was released on Kitsune Maison Compilation 5 and to me has a cool bass beat that reminds me of some of the ones I heard by Timberland minus the gay vocals added by rappers.

Fake Blood totally kicks ass. He has really blown up insanely quick. Congrats to him. I remember looking all over the internet in April for his “Beeper” remix and was so glad once I finally got it. Well it is way easier to find now. Beatport now carries some of his stuff so DL the song and if you like it, then buy it. His remix of UNKLE’s “Restless” is also worth the couple of bucks.

The Wiseguys “Ooh la la” is one of those songs you have heard somewhere and just can’t remember where. Probably on a shitty Dane Cook movie preview or something. Luckily the song doesn’t suck like Dane Cook. It is a classic Breaks trackĀ  from the British Hip-Hop group’s Antidote (1999). Peace & Beats

Modeselektor is a young and hip duo, or trio, (Not really sure since there was three of them at Coachella) from Berlin. Unlike most of the music I seem to hear coming out of Germany, Modeselektor is far less minimal even though the are signed to Ellen Allien’s Bpitch label. “Hasir” is probably my favorite track from their 2005 album Hello Mom! DL the track below, but remember to support your artists and buy the album. Peace & Beats
